Ken Hill Client Manager, Industry Engagement, Australian Customs & Border Protection Ken Hill has been with the Australian Customs and Border Protection for over 30 years and is based in Brisbane. Over his career with Customs, he has worked in most areas ranging from airports, wharves, district offices and now is commercialy focused providing training and eduction within the industry and of Customs Officers. For five years Ken worked in the Import Compliance area which deals with the clearance of cargo and the collection of duties as well as having held the position of Senior Tariff Officer (QLD). As Client Manager, Industry Engagement, he has been involved with the training and education of industry and Customs officers within the Qld/NT regions through the important milestones of the introduction of the GST and the introduction of the Cargo Management Re-engineering project, the Integrated Cargo System (ICS).
